heres the situation, im looking to build a line level delay using a pt2399, all i need is one wet single repeat.
no dry, no feedback, no level control.
looking through the data sheet all of there example circuits are just the chip.
my question is, will this chip work on its own for line level applications such as this?
can i do away with additional gain stages?
im guessing i could just tweak the surround sound circuit they have for adjustable delay time.
am i making any sense at all!!!?
;D

The PT2399 by itself can make the proper voltage levels for -10dBV but maybe not at the proper impedance.  I don't recall the output impedance of the PT2399, but you could easily add a buffer.
For +4dBu, you might need a teensy bit of gain (like x2) and as above, probably a buffer.

ok,
maybe i'll build something simple to go with it then, like the circuit in the belton reverb data sheet.
i guess i should assume that sample circuits in audio ic data sheets are generally geared towards line level operation.
thanks for the info!
