hornby skewes treble booster-anything similar in layouts gallery ????

hi folks-
im very interested in getting one of these or an equivalent..........
can anyone tell me is there any pedal in the layouts gallery which is comparable?

id seen that while searching about but im a newbie so didnt want to go the full hog and do the zonk thingy too.....
is there not a discrepancy with most of the schems for the H/S booster where there is no input cap...
i suppose i should just buy a BSM or somethin but id like to build my own and save a few bucks !

There`s a fair bit of conjecture as to what the original caps were. Type Hornby skewes into the search engine, there are some interesting threads relating to this.
     Have you seen the prices for those BSM`s? SHOCKING!!! Save your money, build a Rangemaster or a Brian May boost or any other one transistor boost.
