Need recommendations for enclosure (SanSamp, Flipster)

I have just finished a Flipster (Thanks ROG!) and am in the final throes of a SansAmp GT-2 from TP.

For those of you that have built them, what size enclosures are you using?

My typical 1590BB looks to be too small for the 4-pot effects given the size of the boards. I did not want to hack a box up to find out it's not going to fit well without a shoehorn and a big hammer.  ;D

Thanks,

I did the Flipster in a BB; the volume and gain pots were put toward the outside to allow room for the power jack between them and the tone controls were dropped down a bit between the two. Worked fine, and I don't remember particularly having a crunch with board room.

kinda like this - season to taste on the spacing.. This still leaves room between the vol / gain for the LED.

Working out the spacing with some graph paper and a circle template would help you with issues like this, or if you have access to some sort of CAD software... When things look like the spacing is gonna be tight, I work it out on CAD and then use a printer plot of it to tape to the box for a drilling template. Use a PK nail (concrete nail - very hard steel) that's been sharpened on a file to punch small marks on the box. I'm sure any decent diameter nail you have available could also be sharpened for the same purpose, though. These little divots help keep your drill bit from wandering. The same approach can be used with your graph paper drawing.
Little time to do it right. Always time to do it over.

Update:
I picked up a 1790NS to put the SansAmp in. Fits perfect.
I put the Flipster in a metal data switch enclosure for temp. Lots of room in there. I am still playing with voltages (2 batts) and trimmers on this one so it makes for easy access.

Thanks for the suggestions.
