i built another fuzz jade...

now unlike the first one i made this one needed to biased. it had the whole spitty buzzzzzzzzzzz thing so i played around and got it sounding nice and thick. well while playing with the bias i ended up removing the 100r from Q3's emitter to ground and just ran the emitter to ground, http://commonsound.org/fuzz/schematic.gif. once i got the pedal sounding good i tried putting the 100r back in and noticed that it makes a good amount of difference. i can't tell if it is just cutting the volume or actually changing the sound via changing the bias? any thoughts on this from those of you who know?


p.s. i'm hoping this one won't have the switch pop my first one has! got my fingers crossed and everything.
