Ge Tranny for Fuzz face

Anydoby know of a source where I can get some decent trannys for a Fuzz Face build.

I know there is Banzai but the want a fortune for a pair
and then there is small bear.

And nobody even mention ebay they wont give Hfe for there components when I ask so it leads me to believe they are just there own rejects.

I am thinking of buying a few hundres and matching them myself and then farm them out if I dont use them all,

Just cant seem to find anyone with a stash or know of someone selling....

i'd go with smallbear.  you'll know what you're getting, and get an accurate gain.  besides, steve has a ton of choices

Yh but its an expensive option if I want to buy 100 for example.  I would rather buy a bag or box un-matched and mess with them myself.  I would be paying for them to be matched

The on-line brokers who have large lots of such devices typically have very high minimum orders--$250.00 is not unusual--and it is very difficult to be sure of the quality of what you are getting. You can sometimes find bulk lots offered on E-Bay, and I know that some people here have been pleased with their purchases. Minimum buys are usually much lower there. If you can, get a guarantee of yield of useable devices.

I do offer commercial quantities of PNP, unbranded, U.S.-made germanium. Please see SKU 0115 on my Stock List for the spec and guarantee. These are the same parts that I draw on for raw stock for the standard PNP U.S. FF pairs that I list as SKU 0100A, but they are much cheaper per device if you are willing to sort, test and audit yourself.
