DIGITAL POT?

hi, i need a digital pot like DS1869 to control with a PIC my effects, but i need once with range 500K, exist a digital pot like this?

I think there are some that come in 250K and 1M but they come in SMD packages and the resolution on them is poor. Also be aware that in many cases you can't just drop a digital pot in place of a mechanical pot because of the design limitations of digital pots.
