May Queen debugging

Hi all

I´ve just finished building my May Queen and got everything working and on the enclosure but theres still some problems with it.
First i would like to say i get some hum ( as expected cause on clean guitar i get some hum aswell ((CRAPPY AMP))). One thing that i noticed is that i get more hum if i touch the enclosure. Is this normal.Another strange thing is that when i touch the encloser and then touche the guitar strings i get lower humm. Is this normal. Do you think is there a ground loop somewhere.
This is a great effect even with my crappy amp and guitar. It doesnt really sound what i wanted but its really good since my equipment is really bad.
