Diyers,
Hi, last week I sorted different IC and transistors which my officemate gave it to me from his brother's stocks who is a TV/Radio technician whom migrated to US for 7yrs now. He was to dispose of it and remember that I could use it. Many IC's were 8pins, 12, 14 16 even 24pins. I download some datasheet and read out their description as AF amplifier, Audio amplifier, dual power amplifier, operational amplifier, stereo amp, quadruple operational amp, TV IF amplifier etc... My question is AF or IF or Audio or Power description are the same co'z they are all amplifier? Does these ICs can be use or can be as replacement for
or stompbox project? A link for different amplifiers description and their uses would be a help :icon_rolleyes:

Thanks guys
Roger

Yes they differ, probably only the operational amplifier and the quadruple operational amp are useful for stompbox use. Do you have the types for them so we can confirm this?

CGDARK

If you post a list of them, it would be easier to help you. ;)

Actually, that's a very nice selection of chips.  A lot of useful ones there, though not all of them are musically oriented.  A lot of nice low-medium power amplifier chips, almost all of which should work nicely off a 12v supply.  Many would make nice headphone amps, practice amps, or provide the basis of a nice bi-amped speaker system.  A number of chis are useful generic chips, like the AN6554, BA328 and LM324.  The MN3101 is useful for flanger/chorus effects, and the MC4069 and MN4066 are useful for the MXR envelope filter.

That's a nice stash to stumble onto. :icon_biggrin:

Also check out http://makezine.com/ and other DIY forums. You're going to make a bunch of really cool things with those chips.

An idea for one of the medium power amp chips is to make a talk-box-in-a-box!

MN4066 and MC4069 for envelop filter  :icon_biggrin:
Wow! but  I don't know the sounds yet of envelop filter. Tonepad I think I saw a project. I'll check on it Mark and thanks.

Talk box sounds great project also thanks Remmelt. Is there a link for the project?

If some of you could still help identify some of the piece would be a big help guys.

Hi
IF I recall correctly, the LM324N is a quad op-amp that operates from a dual or *single* supply (e.g. +9V) ad requires no biasing of the input signal.  The datasheet is available everywhere.  Perfect for an equaliser or similar.
cheers

Hey Mark I check out MXR envelop filter from Tonepad it's a Wah sort of autowah. I already have a Wah but later it's on the list.
Brett, I have two of this LM324N  :icon_biggrin: Thanks.

DIYers,

Here's all the ICs

Also I have many T03 transistor type this is in metal case oval shape isn't it? but I don't know how to use these. Link instructions on how to use T03 would be a big help  ::)

Thanks guys,
Roger
