Westlabs...anyone tried them ?

Obviously a lot less money than for a transformer, but I boiught some switches from him a while back--no problem. He also used to be a regular on one of the amp forums, possibly Ampage, but I don't really remember.

Just curious, is this one of those left-over Matchless transformers?

  that's what the text said...matchless failed to pick them up.
  Why...hard to say.
  I talked to David at Mojotone, he said the heyboer's are definite upgrade to the transformers in the AC15cc I have, amp sounds good, probably will sound better/more defined low notes? with an upgrade output tranny.

I think because they (Matchless) went belly-up!

Anyway, back there in the foggy recesses of my mind, I seem to recall people being very happy with those Heyboers. Good luck with it.

I bought West Lab transformers for my Matchless Spitfire clone. I had no problems with any of their service, and they are good quality products.
