I was wondering how to wire up 2 or 3 led's so they continuously blink like some glasses have leds do.
A friend wanted a "light" show on one of his pedals i am making him

Thanks guys

Hi,

You can do up to 10 with a 4017 decade counter like this http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_6/chpt_7/6.html

Hope this helps,

I have made a fuzz pedal (I called it the 5-0) and put a blue and a red flashing LED on it to give it that police-y feel/look. They cost me about $3 each and they flash at different speeds so it looks pretty cool. If you can get them, don't bother with all the extra circuitry and wiring

Radio Shack used to (?) sell blinking red LEDs. You wire one in series with regular non-blinking ones and they all blink in sync (hey that rhymes!)

Try a simple 3909-based blinking LED circuit too.
