Hey, i built the Ross, and when i plug it in the sound is noticeably dimmed.
Is there any mod to fix it?
Thanks a lot!

I can't tell from this whether this Ross needs debugging, 'dimmed' makes me maybe think output isn't unity, IWCase the circuit would require debugging.
Is there any mod to fix it?
No, there may be a fix to fix it, or a mod to mod it, but no mod to fix it.
It is the same circuit as the Dynacomp, +/- a few parts to 'dull' it..IIRC the Ross is the one with less HF taming, so shouldn't be particularly dulled.

Search and you will find several post about the Ross sounding more like an over drive than a clean comp.
Mine does too.

Mark Hammer wrote a post with the reason.
The 3080 IC is easily overloaded and the Ross has no signal attenuation before the IC.

The best way to fix it is to turn down the volume on your guitar and make up the gain with the level control on the Ross.
That will clean it up.
