Heres the Run Off Groove Multi-Face fuzz.  Its an AMAZINGLY versitile and awsome sounding fuzz.  I have experimented and found my tones with it.

This is a vero layout thats not verified.  You MUST build this pedal.  Its really great sounding to me.  It does have a lot of gain though, and has some crazy feedback when on full.  It sounds great with an overdrive before it to even it out and give some treble.

Tried to make it small as possible, but good enough to fit everything.  Let me know if theres any mistakes.

Has anyone verified this vero yet? I'm thinking of building one, but I would like to do a few mods. I would like to add 3P4T rotary pots in place of Q1 and Q2 (to switch between different trannies). I would also add 2P6T rotary pots in place of C1 and C2 (same reason). This should work, right? Also, can I put a 10K pot in place of VR1, so that I can bias the trannies? Many thanks.

I'm glad you're enjoying the Multi-Face, but remember that the article is merely a write-up of the amazing flexibility provided by Tim Escobedo's "Many Faces of Fuzz" page.

This was my first non-kit build and it`s still got a place on my pedal board. I added a tone control so is it still a fuzz face? Dunno, don`t care it sounds great and I would recommend this build to anyone.

I think i'm going to build the Multiface and was wondering if anyone has used this vero. If not, does it look correct? I'm really not experienced enough to look at this and tell ! Also, i'm going to put 3P4T rotary switches in place of the trannies. That way I can use several trannies in one pedal. My other question is, since i'm going to replace the trim pot with a regular pot so that I can adjust the bias, which lugs from the pot will go where? Hope this makes sense. Thanks guys.

Unfortunately I can`t see the picture so I can`t comment on whether it will work or not. Check out this thread though.

It should get you what you`re looking for. Just socket the trannies and capacitors, except for C3, for the same result as a multi-face.

It should say his age in his profile.

I think Kerry's about 15, from memory. I also know he doesn't come around here very much anymore, but is still building/designing pedals and amps.
