an amp/speaker simulator, i believe.

what i want is a pedal that i can go directly into a pa system and sound acceptable. i was looking at the lhx2 simulations and was thinking about attemping one of these. but i am open to anything else and would like some suggestions/confirmation. whether it be a tube preamp like http://www.paia.com/proddetail.asp?prod=9210K or something else. thanks.

what you want from your topic heading!

(Word to the wise.)

Do a search here for "condor" or "speaker sim".

i have done multiple searches. and looked at the condor, and as i said looked at the lhx2. i was looking for other things as well as which would be best. i'm just looking for a clean, voxy type tone... maybe i could do fender too. as i said though, i'm looking to go directly into a pa system so would like opinions on what would be best for this.

Try this old standby. I did build it for exactly what you described but was never able to test it since my amp never went down long enough to try it.

thanks aron. looks like that should do the job. what is the VB out of the first to opamps refering to? also is this for xlr out? that would be nice... never dealt with them electronically though.
