I want to play my electric guitar during our rehearsals, which are without a drummer at the moment. But I'm wondering if this little cricket can produce enough volume, so I can hear my guitar while our singer does what he does best. When I played the acoustic on Thursday, I was barely heard

Today I found an old radio of mine lying around... :icon_twisted:

Armed with a screwdriver I completely stripped this sucker. I got 4 speakers, and a few pcbs wired with a lot of parts from it.
If it's possible, I will strip the PCBs as well, to get a nice ammount of resistors, capacitors, trim pots, ...

The speakers are twice 8ohm, 3W, 4"  and two 8ohm, 3-8W, 2".

The two smaller ones will become a 2x2 cabinet  ;D and the 4" ones will be separate cabinets. Does anybody have an idea of the sound of these suckers?
Would it be advisable to buy good wood, or is this money down the drain for these little speakers?
