I thought that I had posted about this but a search brought up nothing !
I got hold of one about 6 weeks ago and was away/too busy to give it any time or to compare with a VB-2.
I borrowed an original VB-2 and have to say that the UV300 is VERY close indeed, OK ignore the plastic and
cheap jacks etc, it's fairly quiet compared to the VB-2 and has all the same funcions of rise time/latch etc.
Gives a very "pure" sine wave vibrato and on slow shallow settings it's instant "Boards of Canada" !!
Really worth every penny of the £18.99 - which is less than the cost of a decent pizza and two beers !
I know that it's not DIY and another Behringer rip off, but I can't recommend it enough unless you simply MUST
spend £150 on a real VB-2 !  :icon_eek:
It would be worth getting hold of a dead Boss enclosure for a re-house or possibly use a 1590BB
