OK this is a long shot. Maybe wrong part of the Forum. Probably not even the right Forum although I know some forum members have good knowledge of tube amps. In short I`m looking for a schematic in order to have the aforementioned amp serviced. I`m not confident enough to attempt it myself and have a healthy fear of Electrocution.

I`ve already googled it and I`m aware there are schematics available. At a price.

If anyone has a copy it would be much appreciated and I may even have some parts/components, you need, for trade.

I swear I saw that up on Schematic Heaven.... but there's no way to know because it's still down. Damned internet! I'll check my files and see if I saved it - I know I saved something like that sometime this past month....

I remember a guitarist around 1964 who used a Strat/Echolette echo/Echolette amp combination which gave an amazing sound - screaming treble of course. Yes, it was Steve Hounslow of the Starliners in the Barnet area.

Hey, not such a long shot after all. Many thanks Nasse and others for your efforts.

Stephen, I googled the Starliners out of curiosity. Seems some other fellow named Stephen Giles played with them also. Probably just a coincidence though. Right? ;D

Ah, that site was set up by someone who went to my old school, Queen Elizabeth's Boys Grammar School. I did a few gigs with them when their lead guitarist was ill, it was great to borrow his strat! He was good at Chet Atkins style, I wonder what happened to him?

Cool, I don't read that very often, try some Chet Atkins, or Django...challenging and lots of work, not that I can even do it.
