Hey Guys,

I was given a EVH Phase 90. The reg foot switch "Pop"s and "Crackles" when hit. I replaced it and does it still.
I have read around the forum there is a cap or resistor you have to switch out because it is leaking or something like that....

can you help me guys

thanks

i had the same problem...

stick a 1MOhm or higher value resistor between the board input and ground.. and voila..

is it possible for you to take a pic of your board where you did it? Or if i take some of mine to point out where exactly it is?

Thanks

Looking at the board I see a line going from one of the in jacks to where the battery goes, but its ends there... no other place to go i think. Is this the right place?

yes, that´s ground (the "-" pole of the batt)..other source of ground is the copper around the board (ussually that´s ground)

you have to follow the wires...the input goes to the switch, and from the switch goes to the output jack (bypass) and to the board (on)
where the input goes to the board you have to solder the resistor..the other end to ground..

i had that issue with a DIY phase 90 so, its useless to take a pic and show u where..its a different layout.

may be if you show me your board.
