Hi friends,
Just finished my rebote 2.5, it's great, lots of fun with it.
The problem I found with mine is that the volume is a
bit louder when the effect is on. I searched for a way to
get it in the same level that I have when the effect is bypassed
but all the posts talk about problems with low volume.

I use NE5532, not the TL072 opamp. May it be the problem?
Someone who uses the TL072 can tell me if the level in
bypass is the same of effect on?

Sorry about poor english. Thanks a lot.

My rebote 2.5 had a constant volume. No increase or decrease. I used a TL072.
If you have socketed the NE5532, you could try to swap in a Tl072 and see if it makes a difference.

You can change the last 100k resistor  near the output with a trimpot. You can tweak it till you get no boost.

The dry volume should be the same as bypassed because the opamps are set up to have no gain, the type of op amp should not matter. Check that you have the resistors around IC2a in the correct places, if you put the 33k between pins 1 and 2 by mistake that would give the circuit a small volume boost. Check that you have used the correct resistor values as well and round IC2b using the wrong values there could give some boost.

I have the same volume boost with mine.   I was going to try and add a volume pot to the tail end of it to have some control.  I like how it sounds other than the loud volume.  I used this layout on perfboard.  I also changed the resistor for endless repeats.  Very cool.
That 100k resistor I'll change to a volume pot. (Maybe a trim pot.)  As Kornell had mentioned.

Thanks a lot for all your replies friends.
The components are correct, I socketed
the NE5532 but I really like this opamp
and have a lot of them here. I will use
the trimpot like you said. Thanks for your
support.

I used a 8.2k for endless repeats, really
great. Thanks.
