I think my NeoVibe suffers from excessive wobble, almost a detune effect..........is that just a peculiarity of my build or can it be corrected with the bias trim or moving the LDRs to a slightly different position?
Thanks

detuning type effect may be coming about from the mixing stage favoring one side over the other.  maybe try altering the mixing resistors to get a different sound??

I have a  couple of 1% resistors there......hummmm............wasn't there a way to wire  a pot in there?
Thanks

look around R35-38 area if I'm not mistaken(and I often am).  maybe replace R36 & 37 with a pot wired as voltage divider??

Aharon

Ok....R35  to lug 1.......R36 to lug 3 and wiper to the sw>output.....correct?
Thanks fo the help.

i was thinking like this...  eliminating R36 & 7.

Putting in a pot or trimmer in the mixing stage instead of the fixed resistors will help to tune in the phase notch/depth but the wobble (assuming we are talking the same terms here ) is more to do with the LDRs and or individual phase stages and caps I believe. Getting the maximum wobble is the thing one usually tries to do as the detune chorus like phase is what the univibe is all about.
Can you post a sound sample before you make the mods(s) ?

I was advocating the pot thing as a temp solution to find out if the prob was in the mixing stage, rather than somewhere else.  when "detune" was mentioned, it made me think right off, mixing stage.  as in too much chorus type sound, not enough vibe sound...  Clips would indeed help!
