Hi all,
Long time listener, first time caller.
Seriously, I'm new here and after modding a couple of my own pedals, I recently built a Red LLama clone (which rocks by the way).  My next build is a Green Ringer clone and I was concerned about matching the diodes, resistors, and capacitors.  I have a multimeter at home with a diode selection on the switch, so I'm covered for the diodes and the resistors, but is there any way I can use the meter to check the .047 capacitors?  I purchased the Panasonic film caps from Small Bear, might they be pretty close anyway?
Thanks in advance for all your help and advice.

If your current meter lacks a capacitance measurement function, unless you're in dire straights, you owe it to yourself to pick up a meter with that capability.  Even if all capacitors were 1% tolerance components, as sure as I am sitting here there WILL be at least one critical capacitor in your future whose markings are either illegible or rubbed off, and it will be worth the $20 to save yourself that grief when the time comes (and it will....again and again).

Thanks for the advice.
You have a really great point, and I'll probably go pick one up tomorrow.  Are there any particular brands/models that anyone recommends?
Thanks!
