Well, as stated by the name of the thread, I've finished a complete build instruction including layouts and offboard wiring.

Before I post it, I'd like for someone to take a look at the document and layouts, give me tips on what should be corrected and stuff like that. Also check my spelling as my schoolenglish isn't the best :icon_redface:

Please send me a PM if you care to take a look.

Your welcome John.
It's not an easy build, the layout is tight, tighter than the average stompbox layouts I've seen, it's including surface mounted IC's. However it's possible, but a lot of attention has to be payed to the circuitboards, etching progress and so.
Debugging is difficult if you got no tonegenerator or o-scope aviable, I do not recomend it for those who don't have it.

Oh Ok, that's right...I forgot about the other post you made with the pics of your Pearl Octaver.
Surface mount is going to be a hard one to do for most people.

I've built a couple ring modulators (Maestro RM-1) and they are hard to get set right but with patience you can do it.
If you think an Oscilliscope is needed this might be too much to get the build set right.
I'll have to wait and see how the build instructions are!!

Well, understand me right, an oscilloscope is not needed for the build, it's just almost a must when debugging the circuit.
Since my first layout had some errors (corrected now of course), I learnt that the hard way :icon_redface: :icon_lol:
