A google search didn't turn anything up that i could find and i don't want to go ebay. What is a fair price?  I only need enough for one so i want to buy as little as possible.  I'd like to get what works best, the original reissue oil would be preferred unless it is ridiculously expensive or more gold plated connector mojo placebo effect legend.

also, how much should be put in there?  This is a morley evo-1 delay/volume pedal.

I think the lack of oil is why the motor won't spin the disc, it seems to be hard to spin the drum by hand.  I'm not sure how the whole mechanism works anyways, there's a small motor shaft and a drum w/ a belt but the belt is just around the drum, not the shaft.  It doesn't look like it should go right on the shaft, kind of like there should be a pinch roller or something like on a tape deck.  Any help w/ that would be awesome too.

There was a thread on this not too long ago, I'm sure a little bit of a search could find it.

EDIT: Couldn't find the link to the thread, but I found an Ebay link for a seller of the oil. Click here

Is it at all similar to Hammond Organ Oil (oh gosh, there's a bad euphemism  :o )?
If it ain't broke...   ...it will be soon.

I'll vouch for the stuff that's on eBay. I have a DimensionIV that was not working. I added about a tablespoon to the can and now it sounds awesome!

cool, maybe i'll check out the ebay store, how much should be in there?  I have no evidence of leaks and there's about a tablespoon in there right now.

No.  The oil for these delay units is proprietary and has very unique properties (It's conductive).  It's the only thing that works in these things.

If your disc isn't spinning, there could be more issues than just the being dry, and frankly, if it's run dry, chances are the disc has been damaged.  Not sure on the specific belt routing for your unit.  I've got a Morley EDL.

There's a really awesome website for these things, but I can't for the life of me find it right at the moment.  They cover every question you could ever think of, and then some.

The oil level in mine is such that it doesn't spill out when the lid is not on the can... only about a couple of tablespoons.
