Dragonfly Rangemaster PNP Question

Awhile ago I started a thread on which treble booster to make. I decided on this one:

but, i dont really understand how to wire the offboard components.
I was going to use the offboard wiring from here: http://tonepad.com/project.asp?id=35
but then I realized that this is NPN, and the circuit from Dragonfly is PNP. Is the only difference that the negative DC goes to the board, and the positive terminal of the DC jack is sent to the shield? Thanks for any help you can provide!

well i tried to make a diagram to show what i mean. sorry about the quality, mac doesnt have any good programs:

is this correct offboard wiring? what should i change? if you cant read it ill translate
