Ahh, okay -- I see it. I forgot that you read pots as "in, out, ground" (3, 2, 1). So yes, lug 3 is obviously attached to C5.

Thanks!

that's not exactly correct. pots do not really have in, out, or ground. there is the wiper (lug 2) and then there is a split resistance which changes in a fixed ratio between the wiper and each of the outside lugs. so if you have a 50k pot, and it is turned to dead center, the resistance between each outer lug and the center lug would be 25k. when you tie one outer lug to ground, you are using it to set how much of the signal you will kill by shunting it to ground. when you tie one of the outer lugs to the center lug, then you short the resistance for one side, turning the other outer lug into a variable resistor. make sense?

you might want to read "the secret life of pots" on the geofex site, it will teach you tons about pots and how they work.

did you get this to work?
lets see your updated layout
also any thoughts on how to give this boost a bit more sparkle, and clarity but retain a tight bass?
I am not talking sho harshness just a  little more life to it.

Yes, I got it working -- I just haven't proceeded with it because after building it, I still prefer the sound of the mini-boost. I may come back to it later, though.
