Hello all,
I'd like to use the LFO led as the status LED, does anyone have this drawn up?  What's the best way to do this? (I'm using a 3p3t!)

Try searching. I think somebody asked this same question very recently.

Hey Sonic,
Yeah, I've searched, that last post was referring to a dpdt implementation...

I haven't had time to open mine up and see how I did it, but it was fairly easy, IIRC. I just now looked at the tonepad layout to refresh my memory. The LED is wired directly to the board - just break the connection in one of the LED's leads with one pole from your 3PDT.

Wait, you said you're using a 3p3t... did you mean 3pdt? You're using one of the standard blue stompswitches with 9 connections on the back, right?

Hey jefe,
Yes, the standard 9 solder connections, bad typing, sorry bout that....  ok, usually I use this layout for offboard wiring http://www.tonepad.com/getFile.asp?id=76 (#5), so what's the best approach?  Thanks for your help!

I think the wiring for the blinking LED as indicator is shown on this schematic: http://commonsound.org/tremulus/tremulusscheme.pdf

The French connection

Hi! i think the way the tremulus is normally wired, the LED flashes to the LFO tempo, and it turns off when the pedal is in bypass. You can also add an extra Led for status. Verify on this forum: http://commonsound.org/fud/index.php?t=msg&th=724&start=0&S=d85da32d7954151c781198a8ba5cbfb1
Or here: http://www.commonsound.com/kits/doku.php?id=commonsound:tremulus
I know, but the pedal i built does not boost...it just increases volume!

OK, take a quick look at layout #2 - it shows a DPDT switch without an LED indicator. Wire up your 3PDT like that, using just 2 of your 3 poles - that will leave you with 1 unused pole (3 solder lugs with nothing soldered to them). Use the unused pole for your LED.

Gah, this is a case where a picture is worth a thousand words. Sorry, I can't sketch anything up for you right now.
