My Bluesbreaker clone crapped out

Worked fine for several months but now puts out about half input volume and sounds all fizzy - not the nice crunch I've grown to love.
The change was not gradual at all - it worked fine at one gig and the next it didn't.
It lives in a very well made and protective hard case-pedalboard so it wasn't banged around.

I've reflowed every solder joint in it (just in case there was a flaky one) but no cigar.
Do OpAmps just give up the ghost sometimes?

Cheers,

My Momma always said, "Stultus est sicut stultus facit".
She was funny like that.

jj,
that sounds like it could be a transistor problem... can you post voltages?  did the pcb knock itself loose and ground itself on the enclosure somewhere?  does it work with the board outside of the enclosure?
