Smash Drive Question

All,

I just built the Smash Drive, which sounds great BTW, but the gain pot doesn't seem to make any noticeable difference in the sound.  It's a 5K pot, so maybe I should increase it to 10?

Sorry for the newbie question, but I just spent an hour researching it in the archives, but no luck.

actually 5k is an overkill as 1k is the best in my opinion.  you must have something incorrectly hooked up.  check your connections....
