After some debuging I finaly got this thing working.
I used this schematic http://filters.muziq.be/files/schematics/pearl_oc-07.jpg from Discofreq´s great site.

For the fets I used a J201 at the input and 2SK30:s for the others. It has a LM324 for driving the 4013:s and the rest is TL072 and TL074.
My plan is to box it up in 1590B size box, it will be a tight fit :icon_confused:

Here´s a short soundsample Click here to watch Pearl-OC07

In time I´m planning to get layouts posted for this one and some others I made layouts of.

Sounds really good!
and it's not an easy tiny schematic, how long did it take you?

Any pictures of it? any schematic for the lazy guys here?  :P ;)
Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible.

MarcoMike

of course the lazy guys of the post before were not interested in the schematic, but in some kind of layout/pcb...  ;D

I kind of figured that out :icon_mrgreen:
I'll post a layout for this one later, there is some corrections I have to make :icon_redface:
It's divided in two boards, one is to be placed standing behind the stompswitch and the other one under the pots, hopefully :icon_confused: There will be no room for a battery.
Oh, and all IC's are surfacemount.

Here's one more lazy one. I've been needing the OC07 for a while but the schematic always freaked me out. A layout would surely inspire me take this project on.

I'll be as happy as a pig in crap, as they say in this neck of the woods. :D

A little question - how does it handle muktiul notes and chords?

Badly !!!!
It's a decent device, but the prices went through the roof in the last few years, sold my original for £150  !!!!
Used the money to buy a 5 watt tube amp kit from ampmaker - A good exchange I think !

Any good tracking analog octave for chords that you'd recommend?

EH POG, "polyphonic octave generator" - I assume :D
Demo video's looked VERY cool.
Boss OC-3 "kind of" allows chords but nothing more that 5th's to be honest.
The polyphonic octave/harmonizer circuits have to be complex and quite expensive, it's in their nature :D

Agreed, does not sound to nice with chords. For single notes, tracking is rather good.
