I tested some transistor combinations in Tim Escobedo's Pushme Pullyou. And recorded some clips, of course. :icon_biggrin:



Pushme Pullyou sound clips.

Mods to the original circuit:


  • Q1 is a 2N5089
  • 1 K gain goes directly to ground
  • No 470 Ohm resistor
  • No bypass cap
