Does anybody know the purpose of the the 2 extremely small round traces which are right next to the bridge rectifier on the Neovibe layout? I don't see anything connected to them on the ggg site:

Just to clarify, they are the tiny traces next to part DB1

The diode bridge package is actually a six pin DIP package that only uses the four outside pins. The two small pads are where the middle pins would go if the diode bridge had them. I left them on there as a drilling aid if you got a weird diode bridge that actually had six pins.

Ignore them.

I should be clearer about that and other features of my layouts.

Some of my layouts have traces and/or pads which are not used in the standard populations of the pedals. Those are for either alternate populations to make the layouts do something slightly different, testing purposes, or for RF guarding, grounding, shielding or other purposes I can't tell you about.

Also, some of them do nothing and are just there 'cause I felt like putting them there and they were in a non-functional area on the board. When I'm doing a layout, all the circuit area is MINE and I can put copper where I want it, for whatever reason. Humans get a feeling of power from silly things, don't they? 8-)

Now you just need to hold out the ends of a big cape and wear a tin foil hat and say MWUHAHAHAHA!!  :icon_mrgreen:
My Momma always said, "Stultus est sicut stultus facit".
She was funny like that.

Hmmm.... I always thought that was "BuahHaHahahah!"

Wouldn't you know it - I even the bad-guy lines wrong!  :icon_cry:

Well, anyway, circuit boards fear me, even if humans don't...  :icon_lol:

Thank you evil genius R.G.!  :icon_twisted: :icon_mrgreen:

Seriously though, much thanks for doing this board.  I'm actually pretty happy that those two traces are to be ignored because i drilled one of them and even with the 1/32" dremel bit i think i drilled away all of the copper.  Okay, i'm done with drilling now, tonight...i will begin populating the board.
