Just wondering if anyone had any differing opinions on these two possible transformers for the Neovibe: :icon_razz:

http://www.mouser.com/catalog/specsheets/164124.pdf

https://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&productId=100108

The differences i see are:

The Mouser one is 15Vac and has an output of 400ma costs $5.49
The Jameco transformer is 16Vac has an output of 1000ma costs $10.49

Since the Mouser is half the price i was going to go with that one.  I just wanted to see if there were any advantages to having that extra voltage and output current for this project?

15/16th voltage comparison is very small.
15v or 16v should be plenty to accomodate large signal input.
I'm not sure what the current needs are, the lamp being a large part of it I guess, 400ma should be more than enough, I guess the NV uses more like 60ma. just a wild guess.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Thanks Pete, i'm going with the Mouser then!
