Hi people!

i have a problem with this boost... i installed as the original schematic but when I move the volume pot there is a buzz sound... i think it is because a ground loop or something like that but the wiring seems to be correct... any suggestions?

Sorry for my poor english, greetings from Argentina!

You will have to go back over all of the wiring, Negrosinfe.  It is usually a problem that we have created!!

Can you post a picture of your boost as you have installed it?

Do you mean a scratchy noise that only happens when the volume pot is being turned?

That could be a bad pot (replace it), a dirty pot (clean it), or DC voltage across the pot (wiring error, except it's normal in some circuits).

You can check for DC voltage across the pot with a voltmeter, measure across the two outside lugs, and try it with the pot turned to both extremes, like all the way up and all the way down.

Can you post a schematic?  Pictures of what you've built?

Thanx GibsonGM and thermionix! Right now i'm rewiring the circuit, tomorrow i'll tell you the results.

Cheers!
