hey guys, today i tried breadboarding the tubescreamer 808 as i had all the necesary parts, and it didnt work
signal comes through but no change if anything even softer. I am using an audio probe, and through the first transistor there is no change / slight drop. When i put the probe in pin 3 (input +) of op amp, its ok, probe in pin 2 (- input) i get normal signal, and pin 1 i get mad screeching (after the cap and resistor its fine though. My problem I belive is that the opamp is not boosting at all

Thanks

Please post voltages and it may become clear where your problem lies...........Maybe even a picture of it breadboarded if you are good witha  camera it may be really easy to see something silly going on

multimeter is in the mail =(   i hate it when things break, and i will see if i can find a good camera around here somewhere......my breadboard is a mess though its 65 row 10 column board and the whole thing is filled

best thing to do is wait for the multimeter which is a must really, or clean up your breadboard and start again boarding it and this time print the schematic out and when you make a connection draw a line through that part of the schematic to make sure you havent missed anything or messed anything up, odds are you missed something or made a mistake you just cant see
