Hi, I came out with this schematic for a line selector and I would like to hear your opinion about it.
At first I just wanted a buffered A/B box, but I let my immagination run wild...

S2 is the footswich, while S1 is a rotary switch. A and B are the effect lines.

possible combinations are:

    S2:    up      down

S1: 1        A    /    B
      2        A    /  A->B
      3        B    /  B->A

is it correct? will all these buffers affect the sound? Any suggestion?

thanks

That looks very cool.

I think you would only need the two buffers after the S1.
The pedals in the A and B loops will also act like buffers.

I guess if I'm wrong the volume level would change as you toggle S1.

It's time to buy a gun. That's what I've been thinking.
Maybe I can afford one, if I do a little less drinking. - Fred Eaglesmith

hey, thank you!

All the buffers are actually there to prevent the "volume drop" caused by the signal seeing two possible paths.
I think I'm gonna try it in the week end and reduce the number of circuitry as much as possible.

actually now I see that the "backward buffer" is probably not necessary... mh... where is my breadboard?!?  :P
