I'm currently working on this one:

http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=46926.0

And I can't figure out what the underscore A and C mean in the layout. Do I just connect these same named points together via wire, or do they go somewhere off the board?

Anyone build from this fine layout from Nelson yet?

Thanks

kleinberger

Also, the numbers with an underscore are kind of confusing too. I can't even connect the dots this morning for some reason. Help? :)

No takers ehh? Is it standard format to have several points with the same number all needing to connect to one another?

PerroGrande

can you link directly to the schematic?  The version I'm looking at doesn't have the features you mentioned.

Yes, everything labeled A connect together and so on, the same with the numbers.

Alternatively you can use this layout I've made. No jumpers needed and you can add your own board for the LED and pots. This way you can put this sequencer board on one side of the enclosure and the wah board on the other side for maximum separation. Size is 40x18mm

Ok, sweet.. thanks. That looks like a nice and tidy layout too. I've got to start trying to make my own. It might help me figure things out quicker with other peoples work. Thanks again.

Quick update on this project, the vanishing point, from Nelson's layout. I wired everything up. Connected all of the same numbers and letters, but the sequencing wasn't moving....just a single step to different lights with every step of the Sequence/Random/Step Footswitch. So after noodling around for a couple of hours I tried this:

Then the sequencing part worked great, as well as the random mode. The clock/manual now toggles through either standard sequence or random, and the Sequence/Random/Step Footswitch switches from sequencing on or as a brake.

I know the switches are backwards, but atleast the sequencer cycles now. Hope this helps someone else...and feel free to correct me or comment on why this helped make the sequencer to work.
