Hi,
I'm going to build Colorsound's one knob fuzz. I checked Dragonfly's layout here:
http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/v/DRAGONFLY-LAYOUTS_0/album18/album144/COLORSOUND_ONE_KNOB_FUZZ_001.jpg.html

and the schematic at fuzz central:
http://fuzzcentral.ssguitar.com/schematics/oneknobfuzz.gif

There is a different value in one of the resistors at the top of the drawings.
It's marked as 820 ohm at Dragonfly's drawing and 82 ohm at fuzz central's schematic.
Does anybody know which one is correct?

Thanks

i don't know which one is right but, you could always use a 1k trim pot.

I guess 82R is correct, because if use 820R the Q2 VC will not to be 4.5V..........

I never try this schematic, but I've test the FF by breadboard using 330R with 2k2 to Q2 C, the voltage is 2.3V...........

It has been built both ways. The original Fuzz Central schematic has the value listed at 820 ohms, and about a year ago Stuart Castledine contacted him and told him it was a 82 ohm. Those who have built both are pretty much evenly divided as to which they prefer. Theres a thread somewhere that you can find by searching....

Thanks everyone for taking the time to reply. I think I will try the trimpot idea suggested by foxfire and tweak it to my taste.
