pull down resistors on GGG negative ground Rangemaster?

Hello

  I was wondering if I would run into any problems putting the usual 1m pulldown resistors from input and output to ground in the general guitar gadgets negative ground/ pnp transistor equiped rangemaster circuit? Ground being negative in this case of course...

Te reason for what we put pull-downs by the input and output cap is irrelevant to the  npn/pnp character of a circuit.
