Anybody build one of these or draw out the schems or have any helpful info?
Got one that was damaged in a flood, I got it working half assed but would like to fix it right or turn it into something else.
Thanks.

Seljer

Don't think i've seen anything more than photos of the board posted

Thanks, that should help some....
there were some components that were so corroded you couldn't tell what they were.
I should be able to figure them out know.

I have a working rotovibe. Can you take some pics of the board and circle what you are trying to identify? I can try and match that up with mine and help you identify the parts.

The Tone God

There have been a couple of versions of the Rotovibe's board. Knowing that would help as well. It should be printed on the board somewhere.

The pix seljer linked to is the same version and from there I was able to get the info I needed.

The trem function, or vibrato function works great.
The Chorus was a little weak so I replaced a bunch of caps and it looks better on a scope, have to wait til I get home to try it.
While I was there I jacked the amplitude up a bit, maybe I'll put a pot in there so it can add some volume and possible distortion boost to it.

Rodgre

The difference between the chorus and the vibrato on the Rotovibe, like most "vibe" pedals, is that the chorus mixes the wet with the dry signal, and the vibrato is just vibe signal. If you changed caps to benefit the chorus mode, you will hear it in vibrato mode as well.

BINGEWOOD

I stuck a neovibe into my dead rotovibe shell.  Cramped inside but werx great.

I made the easyvibe but I used for a while a real univibe, still my rotovibe rules, so I decided to pt it back on my pedal board, even if it's huge.
Mine is an old unit (as confirmed by a dunlop tech), I don't know if it counts or not, but there's something unique in the rotovibe 'swoosh' that simply rocks, the others just plays (with great tones indeed). Anyway, I always come back to the red and chrome elephant.

There isn't any schematics available for this? That is surprising.

I searched for a while and found nothing....just by looking at the old Univibe was I able to figure out how it works....it's not that hard, but it would be alot easier and more fun to tweek with the schems.

I have a rotovibe board that I got up and running at one point.  I think most people find it disappointing and so have never bother to draw it.  I certainly am not interested in messing with it.

I tried the Easyvibe and Rotovibe and basically couldn't find a vibe I liked until I bought a Voodoo Labs MicroVibe.  It is great.

Martin, if you think Gottfried (or you) will trace it, I'll pm pics of my Rotovibe board for the good of the community.

The Tone God

I offered to trace mine awhile back but someone said they were going to do it. I haven't seen a schem for it yet so I don't know if they did. We did compare gut shots and we did have different versions.

Yeah, I know there are a few different versions.  It would be interesting to see what the differences are.

The Tone God

I think most of the differences were for assembly reasons and less audio. I didn't see much different part wise amongst our versions just different part locations.

I could trace mine if people are interested but it will take some time.
