It is mad isn't it , God I want one! lol

Been looking on the site and it seems pretty straight forward if you buy the modules and can get someone to program the pic for you .

Been reading up on MIDI 'ing some old bass pedals and it comes back as one core module $23 for kit, one digital input module for about $15 and some cable and a display. I'm really getting into this just wish I knew more about programing. If you get a chance some of the stuff on there is amazing the sequencers and the SID's especially.

Seriously mate, don't get into it Midibox RULES MY LIFE!!! I've got about 12 or 13 SIDs knocking about waiting for stuffing into my MBSID stuff. For the money, TK's stuff just CANNOT be beaten.

I have two kids that rule my life mate but really looks interesting. What do you use to load the pic? Can I just use a basic Pic development package?

Would love to know how you have got on with your projects the SID one is fantastic where did you get the chips?

Also any ideas or thoughts on the pedal board project? The post I put up seems a bit lacking in proper info at present.

I got most of my PIC's from Wilba on the forum, he managed to bag a load of NOS chips for us all to buy.
I also got a load of other chips from Ebay, and from friends with broken C64's.

I built the PIC burner project on uCapps to burn my PIC's, works just fine once I fixed the missing ground trace problem (check the layout before you etch ;) ). So far, i've only actually built a sync converter with my PIC burner, but i've got the MB6582 PCB set and i'm ordering the OPL set too shortly. If you get yourself onto the Midibox forum, I believe that there's already a bass pedal project that someone at least designed, though I think it was built. Check the search function I guess.

Cheers Jaicen,

Yeah I'm now on the forum,

I thought the pedal board was a bit 'unfinished for my liking!' But did get loads of info about making MIDI bass pedals which is really cool and seems quite easy.

Will keep you posted if I get any further with any of the above.

Cheers
