I tried this webbing paint over black and it looks nice.

The pedal looks very classy and I was supprised at how easy the webbing was to work with.

I have some pedals I sprayed candy red that I am going to apply this gold webbing over. I should look pretty nice and I am impressed with the outcome.

How do you go about doing the webbing paint job? Could you put a tutorial together?

Well to be honest, it is a very simple process. First I drill the box and sand it, this helps the primer stick and insures a good foundation for the paint. Then I sprayed the boxes with primer, once I had a few layers of primer, I dusted the Boxe's with flat black. This dries fast and provides a good guide coat for sanding. I then sanded the black overspray off and ended up with a baby's bottom feeling primer coat.

Then I sprayed a few light coats of gloss black and let it dry. The webbing is real easy to apply, read the directions and use very little. I used one or two quick passes then cleared the boxes. The webbing is a metalick gold and look real nice, give it a try.

I have never seen webbing paint here in italy... looks cool!
I made something similar, the idea was exactly what webbing paint does:

here is the result, I did it with a toothbrush and acrylic paint, that's my favourite pedal so far.
Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible.

for sanding the paint, do you use the finest sandpaper you have? or what kind? I havent sanded anything yet when it comes to paint.

I used fine steel wool and it works great. One can of webbing will do a bunch of pedals as you only need a one pass to get the effect. I sprayed it over candy red and it is wonderful looking.

I made my way downstairs. The stairs lead the way down onto the...street. They lead all the way up too, of course, saves me having two stairways. -Chic Murray
