another way to control wah range ?

Instead of the 6 positions rotary switch for Cf in wahs, would this be a good idea :

Put Cf with a small value (like 5n6), and in parallele, a 1M pot with a large capacitor (like 33n) in series
that way, couldn't we have everything between 5n6 and 38n6?
