(New to forum) A/DA Flanger Clone Help

    well, hi everyone. I've built the moosapotamus a/da flanger clone in the rev.03 august 07 board that I bought in another forum(by the way, thanks to Charles). The build it self went smooth and quick. The effect worked great but I ran out of money and some projects were put on hold. Since I had no money to buy a box to put it in I just put it aside without doing any more testing. but a few days ago I took it out for a test and it sounds wonderfull but I noticed for the first time that the manual pot it's not doing anything at all. No matter  what settings I use with the rest of the pots it just doesn't do anything. so, could anybody help me with this?? please?? I'm really kind of a newbie still so that's why I'm here.

You probably dont have an expression in jack wired on the board (three pads below the manual pads). If you jumper across the top and bottom pads of the vertical row of three, you should get your manual control.

actually, i had one installed but it was probably wired incorrectly. I didn't check it but since i don't have a control pedal and wasn't planning on using one the  jack is now out and I wired the pads you said and it works. it was that simple but i think it would have taken me months to have figured it out. thanks a lot!!!

Ive built 7 of them now and I didn't wire up the manual on the first one and it was actually a pretty cool sound. It wasn't as versatile and it didn't sound good clean but it did the 'almost TZF' thing really really well. The manual control does make it work a lot better though.
