Hi guys ;) I was just wondering if there's any project like this http://youtube.com/watch?v=-vMfJXG-F6A Its the micropog. The pog and hog, they're probably far beyond diy, average diy. But this is.. micro :D haha- Im looking for a similar project like this one, do you know any?

Thanks a lot

I get major GAS whenever I see demos of the HOG / POG.

Are they digital?

Paul Perry (Frostwave)

It's digital.
maybe you could turn one of those telephone 'gender changer' chips into a low-fi version.

QSQCaito

Didn't know it was digital. Game over then :(

Thanks for the answers :)

Just build an Octave Multiplexer and have done with it!

I found out that sending a green ringer into a meatball (manual filter) can generate a quite nice ear-piercing octave up over a large bandwith, not only around the 12th fret.
you can mix this to a OC-2 or the more DIY-able pearl octaver and there you are!

no chance to play chords through it, I'm sorry...
Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible.

The POG has a microprocessor. The effect is a program it's running. If you don't have the program, you can't build the effect. I don't think E-H will sell you a preprogrammed chip so you can make your own, so you're probably out of luck.
Crazy harmonizing on a budget? Here ya go:

Weren't these things like $2000 new? That auction will probably end at over $1000.

I bet they can be found under $1000 if you look hard enough. Those things are already 3 to 4 generations behind the current Eventide stuff, I don't see why their resale value would be that high.
