Bsiab2 question

I read a lot of posts from people that swap the 470pf cap in bsiab 2 (inC5)
for a 560 or higher. Is this just to get MORE midrange response ? how
high can you go and still sound "good " ?

You get more upper-mids, or middle-highs, whatever you want to call it.
