Does anyone know of any effective techniques for shielding aluminum enclosures from rfi/emi interference?

the metal enclosure itself provides a VERY effective shield. The only problem I've encountered is that with some painted enclosures you need to scrape the paint off in some spots to get a good electrical connection between the box and the lid. If its natural shielding isn't enough, I suppose you could consider lining it with mu metal.
