More tone controls for rat

I'm looking for advice on how to add bass & treble controls to a rat, instead of just one tone control. Can anybody point me in the general direction ? Actually,
bass, middle & treble would be sweet. I love the rat, but would like the expanded eq section. I don't know if this would require a new board or not. Any advice a
appreciated.

It's easy to tweak the stock tone circuit if you want to change basic stuff like the range or whatever, but changing to something like a Bass/Treble arrangement would likely require a redesign of the circuit with a new board, etc...
The way it is now is just a basic filter with only a couple components. A two or three band will require alot of additional circuitry.
