2N1893 does anyone have experiences on these?

http://www.ortodoxism.ro/datasheets/microsemi/MSC0271A.pdf I found these from a local electronics components suppliers catalog for quite reasonable price= less than 50cents. For the hfe reading these would look like a good Q1 tranny for Fuzz Face. Does anyone of you have any experience on these trannys and should I go ahead and order a bunch?
