I built a Bazz Fuss as per the version 2 schematic on perfboard, and I can't believe how cool it sounds for 5 components and a volume control.
I wired it up like my LPB1 and Fuzz Face (dpdt, stereo/mono jacks), but I noticed the battery warming up alarmingly after a few minutes!
I guess the blend control and tone mods I was going to experiment with are on hold.
What could I have possibly done wrong?!?!

Should be ~small current draw, battery getting hot usually means direct short between V+ and Gnd. but a really small resistance would do it too.
Test for beep between V+ and ground, if it beeps...a power supply short can be anywhere you find it, debugging falls short for techniques other than searching for shorts, finding and lifting it before testing with power.
