Been looking for one for a while. Already ordered an NTE102 and just need the 103 to pair with it now.

I'm in UK and can only seem to find US sellers on ebay with very high shipping costs :(

Farnell seems to have them
£5.55 each

Yea. I did try but as far as I recall, when I reached checkout it would only let me buy in multiples of 5 or something like that, and the postage was so expensive it'd still work out  cheaper to ship one from the US.

Just checked here;

http://uk.farnell.com/nte-electronics/nte103/bipolar-transistor-npn-24v/dp/1416572?ost=nte103&selectedCategoryId=&categoryId=700000102004&searchView=table&iscrfnonsku=false

Says minimum quantity that you can order is 1, but then there's a 3.95 surcharge for orders under 20 Pounds. Cheapest delivery is 10.90. That little transistor is getting really pricey at this point.

Besides, I have a few 102's and 103's, and they're all fairly leaky. I was planning on using them for the Schumann Two Face fuzz, as per the original, but they ended up sounding like Scheisse. Used Russian transistors instead. Don't know what your application is, but you might be better off getting alternatives from Smallbear. There's lots better options out there than the NTE's.

Yea, thats coming to over £30 which is just insane. That means one transistor is going to cost as much if not more than the combined cost of all the other components in the pedal lol.

Those Farnell ones in Dino's post are from the US.

Yep - seen that. At this stage I dont care much where they come from if I can just find one, and one that ain't extortionate.
