Question about switches on Mod Wah from ggg

   Hi, I was building this last night and got stumped when I got to the switches.  Heres the layout http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/diagrams/wah_mod_lo_rotary.gif  And I bought this switch Rotary 3P2-4T http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=46 from small bear it says it can be used for 2 3 or 4 poles.  But how??  It has a b c poles in the middle and then 1 - 12 around the outside.  I racked my brain and used a continuity tester for a while then I thought I would just ask.  I also got this switch http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=581 for the caps, boy it's nice and small I used the tester and I finally got it worked out especially after I saw the diagram there.  Didn't notice that the first time around.  Help would be greatly appreciated.
